This ticket includes a round-trip bus ticket between Yamagata Station and Zao Onsen Bus Terminal, as well as a Zao Ropeway ticket. Enjoy fantastic Zao Snow Monsters!
How to use a Ticket

・Left side and right side of the ticket are bus tickets. Tear that part when you use buses.
・Center part of the ticket is a ropeway exchange ticket. You need to exchange this ticket for ropeway tickets at Zao Ropeway.

(You can use this combination ticket anytime within the period mentioned. Only the return bus ticket from Zao Onsen Bus Terminal to Yamagata Station is valid until March 4th.)

You can get a refund for unsed tickets at the Yamakobus Yamgata Station Information Center. We do not make refunds for bus fare after you use buses.

How to get to Zao Ropeway from Yamagata station
1. Buy "Bus and Ropeway Combination Tickets" at Yamakobus Yamagata Station information center. You can pay in cash or by credit cards.
2. After buying "Bus and Ropeway Combination Tickets", wait in line at Yamagata Station No.1 bus stop. Yamagata Station- Zao Onsen Line is not reservation based bus. You cannot get on buses in the case that the buses get full.
3. Arriving at Zao Onsen, turn right after you get out of the bus terminal. It takes abot 10 min walk to get to Zao Ropeway.
4. Walking down the road, you see a bridge. Go across the bridge.
5. You will find Zao CHUO Ropeway. You cannot use the combination tickets here, so keep going straight the street.
6. Finally, you arrive at Zao Ropeway. Exchange center part of the combination tickets for ropeway tickets. Depending on how crowded Zao Ropeway is, you may wait for several hours to board a ropeway. Check here how crowded it is. (YouTube Live)

1. A bus from Sendai Airport to Yamagata station runs twice a day.
