Please be aware of the following when using Zao Onsen Line
Smoking is prohibited on all buses. Please refrain from smoking. Also, please refrain from drinking alcohol.
Please set your mobile phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone.
Eating is prohibited.(Drinks except alcohol are possible.)
Please stand in line at the bus stop.
Before getting on the bus, please purchase tickets in advance at ticket windows.

Step1 How to Ride a Bus
1.Before getting in line for the bus to Zao Onsen, purchase tickets at the Yamako Bus Yamagata Station Information Center. You can pay in cash or by cards.
Summer and Winter season tickets are sold as a set of the bus and ropeway.

2.Please line up in order at Yamagata station No.1 bus stop after buying tickets.
*Please line up 20 minutes before the departure time as it may be very crowded.
3.Put tickets into a fare box when you get off the bus. (Depending on the bus, tickets may be collected before boarding.)
